Teaching good behavior, in their view, involves instilling virtues such as respect, empathy, discipline, and teamwork among students. Proponents argue that schools should not only aim to create proficient scholars but also responsible citizens capable of navigating the complexities of the world. Furthermore, in an increasingly diverse and interconnected world, schools play a pivotal role in promoting tolerance, inclusivity, and social responsibility.
In conclusion, I hold a balanced view towards this debate. Schools should adopt a balanced approach by imparting formal education while also instilling values and fostering good conduct. Striking this balance prepares students not only for academic success but also equips them to become responsible and empathetic members of society.
