• Ví dụ: I’m absolutely delighted that you can come.

2, Ecstatic (adjective) /ɪkˈstætɪk/ 

• Định  nghĩa: extremely happy:

• Ví dụ: The new president was greeted by an ecstatic crowd.

3, Radiant (adjective) /ˈreɪ.di.ənt/

4, Elated (adjective) /ɪˈleɪtɪd/

• Định nghĩa: feeling or showing great happiness because of a success

6, Enraptured (adjective) /ɪnˈræp.tʃəd/

• Định nghĩa: filled with great pleasure or extremely pleased by something

7, Euphoric (adjective)  /juːˈfɒr.ɪk/

• Định nghĩa: extremely happy and excited
• Nghĩa Tiếng Việt: phởn phơ
• Ví dụ: All of these songs deploy a verse-chorus scheme in which the verses are in minor, and the euphoric choruses emphasize major sonorities.

19, In good spirits (idiom)

• Định nghĩa: positive and looking toward the future, despite unhappy circumstances.
• Nghĩa Tiếng Việt: có tinh thần tốt
• Ví dụ: The patient is in good spirits and that will speed her recovery.

20, Be as happy as Larry (idiom)

• Định nghĩa: very happy
• Nghĩa Tiếng Việt: đang trong trạng thái tinh thần rất tốt, vui vẻ
• Ví dụ: If these same people have a good, amenable renting situation, in other words they like where they are living, then they are as happy as Larry.

• Định nghĩa: used to say that someone is very happy about something
• Nghĩa Tiếng Việt: như chú chó với 2 cái đuôi; nghĩa là cực kì vui mừng

2, Down in the dumps (idiom)

• Nghĩa Tiếng Việt: cảm thấy vô cùng lo lắng; dễ bị kích động; đáng sợ có thể khiến bạn lạnh sống lưng và khiến bạn hơi rùng mình.
• Ví dụ: The way he looked at me sent shivers down my spine.

2, Rub someone up the wrong way (idiom)

• Định nghĩa: to annoy someone without intending to
• Nghĩa Tiếng Việt: chọc tức ai
• Ví dụ: Those two are always arguing. They just seem to rub each other up the wrong way. 

3, To breathe a sigh of relief (idiom)

• Định nghĩa: to relax because something one has been worrying about is not a problem or danger anymore
• Nghĩa Tiếng Việt: thở phào nhẹ nhõm
• Ví dụ: We all breathed a sigh of relief when we heard that they were safe.

4, On pins and needles (idiom)

• Định nghĩa: worried or excited about something that is going to happen

• Định nghĩa: to have or express negative or overly critical feelings toward someone or something.
