Well, one of my favorite subjects is literature, which is the foundation and basis for almost every other subject.

Basically, literature covers a wide range of fields, including history, poetry, philosophy, novels, short stories, drama, and language. Speaking of when I learned the subject, I must say that I have been studying literature since primary school, and strictly speaking, the time I spend studying literature is not confined to any certain period but every phase of my life.

I am partial to literature for a number of reasons.

As mentioned above, literature is an important aspect of a variety of educational programs. So, how could one communicate with others in a highly respected manner without being literate? Moreover, literature can help us be more educated and informed and, at the same time, can help pave the way for opportunities in study and work.

Besides, I feel that literature can motivate a person to think critically /creatively/ innovatively / independently logically/ systematically. Through studying literature, one may develop a strong sense of logic, morality, etiquette, principle, and so on. And that’s really crucial for a person to function appropriately and effectively in society,

More importantly, I always believed that literature contains the historical background of the time in which it was written simply because literature is the record of the past; it is necessary for inheriting and passing on knowledge to the next generation. For me, I am quite interested in all aspects of the humanities, and literature helps me understand them more insightfully and thoroughly.

In summary, considering the above-mentioned reasons, I’m strongly in favor of literature.

Bên cạnh đó, tôi cảm thấy rằng văn học có thể thúc đẩy một người suy nghĩ chín chắn/sáng tạo/đổi mới/độc lập một cách logic/có hệ thống. Thông qua nghiên cứu văn học, người ta có thể phát triển ý thức mạnh mẽ về logic, đạo đức, nghi thức, nguyên tắc, v.v. Và điều đó thực sự quan trọng để một người hoạt động phù hợp và hiệu quả trong xã hội.

Quan trọng hơn, tôi luôn tin rằng văn học chứa đựng bối cảnh lịch sử của thời đại mà nó được viết ra, đơn giản vì văn học là ghi chép của quá khứ; nó là cần thiết để kế thừa và truyền lại kiến thức cho thế hệ tiếp theo. Đối với tôi, tôi khá quan tâm đến tất cả các khía cạnh của khoa học nhân văn, và văn học giúp tôi hiểu chúng một cách sâu sắc và thấu đáo hơn.

Tóm lại, xét những lý do nêu trên, tôi rất thích văn học.
