Celebrity endorsement is actually one of the most powerful ways to draw attention of the public to social problems. And among many celebrities who actively work to protect the environment, I believe that Leonardo Dicaprio comes out as the most amazing one.

He is a world-famous actor. His name is very familiar with many people for his amazing performance in movies like “Titanic”, “inception”, and “The Great Gatsby”, but I am sure not many know that he is still working very hard for our better environment.

He has done many things so as to save the environment. He founded the Leonardo Dicaprio Foundation in 1998 with a view to financially supporting projects for conserving vulnerable wildlife. In addition, he even produced a documentary film named ‘the 11th hour’ about the environmental state of the Earth in order to raise people’s awareness. Last but not least, he donated a large amount of money for some programmes organized to raise people’s responsibilities of protecting the environment.

I believe that all the things that Leo has done to protect the environment are incredible. Firstly, he will set a good example for his fans, especially young people, to follow. For example, people like me who never care about using plastic bags have changed my mind since his talk published on Youtube sharing about the adverse impacts of plastic bags – which is non-biodegradable. Secondly, I think he could become a source of motivation for other celebrities to raise their voices about other problems in the world to make our lives better.

I believe that our world would become a better place to live if there are many environmental activists like him. I admire him not only because of his talent as an actor but also his kindness to the environment.

Việc người nổi tiếng làm đại sứ là một trong những cách hiệu quả nhất để thu hút sự chú ý của cộng động về những vấn đề xã hội. Và trong số rất nhiều người nổi tiếng hoạt động tích cực để bảo vệ môi trường, tôi tin rằng Leonardo Dicaprio là một trong những người xuất sắc nhất.

Anh ý là một diễn viên nổi tiếng thế giới. Cái tên của anh ý rất thân thuộc với nhiều người vì khả năng diễn xuất tuyệt vời trong một số bộ phim như Titanic, Inception hay The Great Gatsby, nhưng tôi chắc rằng ít người biết anh ý đã và đang cống hiến hết mình cho việc bảo vệ môi trường sống.

Anh đã làm rất nhiều điều để bảo vệ môi trường. Anh ý thành lập một tổ chức tên Leonardo Dicaprio vào năm 1998 với mục đích tạo ra các chương trình hỗ trợ tài chính cho việc bảo vệ môi trường hoang dã đang bị đe doạ. Thêm vào đó, anh ý còn sản xuất một bộ phim tài liệu mang tên “giờ thứ 11” để nói về tình trạng môi trường hiện nay đang nguy hiểm như thế nào, từ đó nâng cao nhận thức của người dân hơn. Cuối cùng, anh ta cũng đã góp một lượng tiền lớn vào những chương trình nâng cao trách nhiệm của cá nhân với việc bảo vệ môi trường.

Tôi tin rằng tất cả những điều mà Leonardo Dicaprio đã làm để bảo vệ môi trường còn trên cả mức tuyệt vời. Đầu tiên, anh ý đã trở thành tấm gương sáng cho những người hâm mộ, đặc biệt là những người trẻ. Ví như như bản thân tôi chẳng bao giờ quan tâm đến việc ngưng sử dụng túi nhựa cho đến khi nghe bài chia sẻ của anh ở trên Youtube về tác hại của việc sử dụng túi nhựa – một chất không tái chế được. Thứ hai nữa, tôi nghĩ anh ý có thể trở thành nguồn động lực tuyệt vời cho những người nổi tiếng khác nữa để nêu cao tiếng nói của mình về các vấn đề khác trên thế giới, từ đó có thể biến thế giới thành một nơi tốt hơn để sống.

Tôi tin rằng thế giới chúng ta sẽ tươi đẹp hơn nếu có nhiều người bảo vệ môi trường như anh ý. Tôi ngưỡng mộ anh không chỉ vì tài năng diễn xuất mà còn vì lòng tốt của anh.
